It’s true a person who is a Develop tab only user doesn’t really have a strong reason to upgrade. But the problem is, the recent Edit tab upgrades like pixel targeting offer a pretty strong reason to consider altering the workflow to include a stronger reliance on a bit mapped editing. Well, view mode for undeveloped RAWs isn’t very important in our work flow, but it’s usually the first sight. This is the reason why we never updated to v7. Of course the settings are identical for all three programs. Likes 1. I went to upgrade but the links don’t seem to be active.

But, as you are also aware, Pro6 and Pro7 were lopsided toward Develop Mode.
That said, Develop Mode in Pro8 did get the Navigator replacing the outdated scroll bars. That one feature makes the whole upgrade worthwhile – at least it does for me. I almost agree that the navigator is worth the upgrade, but virtually everything else is something I never use. I have never used the edit mode and I started with ACD 3! Useful but hardly a game changer Edit mode Fill tool Speaks for itself One of the reasons I disliked Edit is that the undo functions were limited.
